Root Required — Magisk / KernelSU

  1. Install and enable the AlwaysTrustUserCerts module via Magisk or KernelSU: github.com/NVISOsecurity/AlwaysTrustUserCerts
  2. Download the certificate to your phone: ffrkproxy.com/chocobo.pem
  3. Go to Settings → search "CA Certificate" → install the downloaded chocobo.pem file → reboot your device.
  4. After reboot, go to Settings → search "Trusted Certificate" → under SYSTEM (not User), scroll down and confirm the "XK72 Ltd" certificate is listed.
    This step is critical. If the certificate doesn't appear under SYSTEM, the AlwaysTrustUserCerts module did not activate correctly — the proxy will not work. Re-check step 1 before continuing.
  5. Open Chrome on your phone → go to ffrkproxy.com → tap Member Login → sign in → tap Activate current IP.
  6. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi → your network → Proxy → Proxy Auto-Config → enter: https://ffrkproxy.com/chocobo.pac
  7. Launch FFRK and enjoy.
Your IP activation is valid for 24 hours. If you switch networks (Wi-Fi ⇄ mobile data) and the proxy stops working, return to the Member portal and tap Activate current IP again.
